We are a European coordination network for rural and Christian youth organisations all over the continent. Today we represent over 130. 000 young people from rural areas in 14 European countries. The organisations and movements which are part of our network are active either at the local or national level and they are led by, for and with young people.
We promote sustainable agricultural, rural and international development, European citizenship, youth policies, gender equality, environmental protection, interculturality and human rights. Considering Christian values, we strive to implement and raise awareness about these issues and goals by facilitating inter-cultural exchanges, camps, seminars and non-formal learning opportunities in a sustainable and culturally sensitive manner. Employing our methodology of ‘see-judge-act‘, we encourage the participation of young people to build the Europe of tomorrow.

Meet the TEAM
The Executive Board
MIJARC Europe is run by an Executive Board.
The Executive Board is the strategic and operational body of MIJARC Europe. It is subject to the decisions of the General Assembly and the European Coordination.
The Executive Board is competent for all matters that are not attributed by the law or by the present statutes to the European Coordination or the General Assembly.
Secretariat
The European Team supports the Executive Board in executing the decisions and resolutions taken by the General Assembly and the European Coordination. For this purpose, the members of the European Team usually also participate in the regular team meetings of the Executive Board in an advisory and minute-taking capacity. The members of the European Team may also have an advisory role at the General Assembly, the Orientation General Assembly and the European Coordination and assist in the preparation, execution and follow-up of these assemblies.
The staff members employed by MIJARC Europe form the Secretariat. The Secretariat supports the Executive Board in its tasks. The Executive Board may delegate individual tasks to members of the Secretariat temporarily or over a longer period of time.
In addition, tasks can also be delegated to volunteers from member organizations. However, the Executive Board remains accountable to the General Assembly even with regards to delegated tasks.
